The "F" Bomb
Today's Topic: "Scenario Training"
Make Pro and Con list for all US options for ending WWII in Pacific:
1. Invasion 2. Conventional Bombing 3. Atomic Bomb
In groups of 3, decide on course of action and make speech explaining decision.
High-lites
-While engaged in group activity, one student asks "Can't I just kill everyone?"
-Several students drop the "F" bomb, outward use of the word f*ck, a common occurence in the all New York City classrooms. It is explained to these students that the F-bomb is not an option in this Scenario.
-I make several calls on my "greentoof", the phone in my room that does not have a cord. One call is to place a food order for my G4 flight which is later in the evening. The students suggest Shrimp cocktail and I agree.
